Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct engaging classroom lessons covering grammar, literature, composition, and language skills aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
2. Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessment tools to enhance student learning outcomes effectively.
3. Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and encourage participation in extracurricular activities related to English.
4. Collaborate with the school management to implement innovative teaching strategies and integrate technology where applicable.
5. Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment that promotes respect and academic rigor.
6. Participate in school events, workshops, and teacher training sessions to stay updated on educational trends.
7. Assist in organizing inter-house competitions, debates, and elocution contests to boost students’ confidence.
8. Ensure compliance with school policies and maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
A postgraduate degree in English or a related discipline is essential, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Four years of teaching experience, preferably in schools, is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be highly beneficial. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month in Ambala, Haryana.
