Responsibilities
- Design and deliver age‑appropriate PE lessons aligned with the state curriculum.
- Organize intra‑school sports events, inter‑class tournaments, and community outreach games.
- Maintain and manage sports equipment, ensuring safety standards and proper storage.
- Develop individualized fitness plans for students with special needs.
- Monitor student progress, record attendance, and report performance trends.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate physical activity into classroom learning.
- Conduct health and hygiene workshops for students and staff.
- Promote a culture of teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition.
- Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to school policy on physical education.
- Ensure compliance with school safety guidelines during all activities.
- Mentor junior teachers and support their professional development in PE.
Qualification, experience, salary, location
Alpine Public School requires a post‑graduate degree with B.Ed or D.El.Ed and a minimum of 2 years teaching experience. TET/CTET is preferred but not mandatory. The role offers a monthly salary range of Rs.18,000 – Rs.30,000, based on experience and qualifications. The position is located in Ambala Cantt, Ambala, Haryana, and is a full‑time teaching role.
