What You Will Do
In this role, you will:
1. Teach Chemistry to IIT students using a range of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and experiments.
2. Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans, incorporating technology to enhance student learning.
3. Use smart boards to create interactive lessons, promote critical thinking, and encourage student participation.
4. Utilize Google Classroom to share resources, assignments, and feedback with students.
5. Design and implement assessments, quizzes, and tests to evaluate student understanding.
6. Provide individualized attention and support to students, addressing their unique learning needs.
7. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide programs and events.
8. Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and educational research, applying best practices in your teaching.
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this role, you must have a strong passion for teaching Chemistry and a commitment to using technology to enhance the learning experience. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents. A B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. degree is required, with a preference for candidates who have also cleared the CTET or TET.
Preferred Skills
We seek a candidate with a high level of digital literacy and experience using online teaching tools. You should be proficient in using Google Classroom and other educational technologies to create engaging lessons and assessments. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and blended learning approaches is highly desirable.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.80,000 - Rs.110,000 per month, commensurate with experience. Additionally, you will be entitled to a range of benefits, including medical insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
