Role Summary
Day-to-Day Duties
* Prepare and deliver lesson plans for Chemistry classes, aligned with the school's curriculum and teaching standards
* Conduct lectures, demonstrations, and experiments to teach Chemistry concepts to students
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help students improve their understanding of Chemistry
* Develop and implement assessments and exams to evaluate student learning outcomes
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide academic programs and initiatives
* Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's policies and procedures
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
* Supervise students during laboratory sessions and ensure their safety
Who Can Apply
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a B.Ed. and a post-graduate degree in Chemistry. Prior experience as a Chemistry Teacher in a school setting is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have excellent teaching skills, the ability to create engaging lesson plans, and a strong academic background in Chemistry. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed TET/CTET.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary of Rs.50,000 - Rs.69,000 per month, commensurate with experience. Other benefits include a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional development, and a comprehensive benefits package.
