What You Will Do
Conduct daily English classes for NDA-focused students, aligning content with exam patterns. Design lesson plans that cover prose, poetry, grammar, and writing skills at Class 11-12 levels. Organize regular writing exercises, including essays, précis, and letter writing, with timely corrections.
Assess student progress through weekly tests and mock exams to track improvements in comprehension and expression. Provide personalized feedback to help students refine their answers and presentation. Conduct spoken English sessions twice a week to boost confidence in interviews and group discussions.
Prepare students for NDA English sections by introducing relevant vocabulary, idioms, and comprehension strategies. Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate language skills across the curriculum. Participate in school assemblies and cultural events to encourage public speaking.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate in English with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory. Candidates with prior teaching experience in senior secondary classes will be preferred. Familiarity with NDA exam patterns and competitive English syllabi is an advantage.
