What You Will Do
1. Teach NEET Botany topics including Plant Physiology, Genetics, Ecology, and Morphology.
2. Design practice papers and mock tests for NEET Botany sections.
3. Conduct weekly practical sessions in the biology lab.
4. Provide individual attention to students weak in plant kingdom or cell biology.
5. Maintain records of student progress and report to the department head.
6. Organize botanical tours or virtual lab visits to enhance learning.
7. Prepare students for NEET Botany questions with shortcut techniques.
8. Assist in setting up science exhibitions at Sant Roshan Lal Vidhya Mandir.
9. Attend monthly faculty meetings to discuss syllabus updates and exam trends.
Required Qualifications
Must Have
- Postgraduate degree in Botany or Plant Science
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized institution
- Minimum 3 years of teaching Botany at Class XI–XII level
- Experience teaching NEET Botany syllabus
- Fluency in Hindi and English
Good to Have
- TET or CTET certification
- Experience in CBSE-affiliated schools
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools like PhET simulations
- Background in competitive exam coaching
- Participation in botanical research or workshops
Preferred Skills
- Ability to simplify complex concepts like photosynthesis or plant hormones
