English (NTT) Vacancy in Bhiwani, Haryana
Gd GOENKA SCHOOL Bhiwani
Job Description
Role Summary
At Gd Goenka School Bhiwani we work with young learners from Bhiwani’s diverse student community who are just beginning their English language journey. Your role is to nurture their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills so they gain confidence and curiosity for language. The children here come from different backgrounds, and your classroom presence will shape their first positive experiences with English.
Classroom Profile
The NTT section is a lively space of 20–25 children aged 3 to 5, where curiosity is the main textbook. Daily routines include phonics games, picture talk, simple story sessions and vocabulary-building activities. The classroom is equipped with age-appropriate charts, flashcards, audio-visual aids and learning corners. You will plan and execute activities that keep the little ones engaged for 30–40 minutes at a stretch.
What You Will Do
Create weekly lesson plans aligned with the NTT English curriculum and share them with the coordinator every Monday morning. Conduct phonics drills, rhyme recitals and picture-based storytelling to build foundational vocabulary. Use flashcards, puppets and digital rhyme videos to reinforce sounds and words in a playful manner. Organize show-and-tell sessions where each child speaks 2–3 sentences about an object or picture to practice speaking. Design simple worksheets with tracing, matching and coloring tasks for fine motor and language integration. Observe each child’s progress and note milestones in a daily observation sheet shared with parents during PTMs. Collaborate with the NTT team to prepare monthly theme-based projects like “My Family” or “My School.”
Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed with at least 3 years of teaching experience in pre-primary or nursery classes. Familiarity with NTT pedagogy and early childhood teaching methods is essential. Prior experience in English language teaching at the pre-primary level will be preferred.
What Makes You a Fit
You have a calm voice and a smile that puts children at ease in their first school environment. You understand that repetition and routine build confidence, so you plan activities with predictable structures yet room for spontaneity. Your patience and ability to break tasks into tiny steps will help every child in the class feel seen and successful.
Perks and Pay
Gd Goenka School Bhiwani offers a full-time position with a salary between Rs.18,000 and Rs.25,000 per month based on experience and qualifications. You will receive a yearly increment, festival advance, and access to in-house teacher training workshops. The school provides teaching aids, uniform reimbursement for staff children, and transport facility for field visits.
