A postgraduate degree in Chemistry with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. Four years of relevant teaching experience in Chemistry at the secondary level is preferred, ideally in a school environment. While TET/CTET is not mandatory, a valid teaching certificate will be an asset.
