Day-to-Day Duties
- Develop and implement engaging English language lessons for students from grades 1 to 8
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver interdisciplinary projects that integrate English language skills with other subjects
- Engage with parents through regular parent-teacher meetings and keep them informed about their child's progress
- Participate in school events and activities that promote English language learning and cultural exchange
- Conduct extracurricular activities like story-telling, debates, and poetry recitation to foster a love for language
- Develop and maintain a well-organized and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and engagement
Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, with a strong background in English language and literature. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not essential. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective English language lesson plans.
