Role Overview
Delhi Scholars International School, Faridabad is hiring a full‑time PRT Music Teacher. The candidate will conduct primary level music classes, develop basic musical skills, and foster a love for rhythm and melody among young learners in Faridabad, Haryana. Salary ranges from Rs.14,000 to Rs.22,000 per month.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for primary students, covering vocal, instrumental, and theoretical basics. Organise classroom activities, group performances and simple concerts to showcase student progress. Assess student learning through observations, worksheets and informal quizzes, providing feedback to students and parents. Maintain classroom discipline and create a supportive environment that encourages creativity. Coordinate with senior staff to align music curriculum with overall school objectives and participate in school events and cultural programs.
Qualifications and Experience
Graduate degree with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed in Music or related field. Minimum two years of teaching experience at the primary level. Preference given to candidates who have cleared TET or CTET, though it is not mandatory. Good command of Indian classical and contemporary music, and ability to play at least one musical instrument. Strong communication skills and a patient, nurturing approach to young learners.
