PRT Music Teacher Job in Faridabad, Haryana | School Recruitment
This Music Teacher position at a School in Faridabad, Haryana is now accepting applications.
Role Summary
The PRT Music Teacher will lead vocal and instrumental sessions for grades 1 to 5 at G.d. Goenka Public School, Faridabad. Responsible for planning age-appropriate music curricula aligned with CBSE guidelines. Must organize school concerts, inter-house competitions, and annual day performances. Expected to train junior and senior school choirs for national and inter-school festivals.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Conduct 45-minute daily music classes for three sections each day.
2. Teach classical, folk, and contemporary vocal techniques to young learners.
3. Introduce basic instrumental skills (keyboard, tabla, guitar) in Grades 3-5.
4. Prepare weekly lesson plans using audio-visual aids and smart boards.
5. Organize weekly choir rehearsals for 40-50 students.
6. Coordinate with the art department for annual day stage design and lighting.
7. Maintain inventory of 25+ instruments and ensure safe storage.
8. Conduct quarterly music quizzes and rhythm exercises for assessment.
9. Share student progress reports with parents during PTMs.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Graduate in Music (Vocal/Instrumental) from a recognized university
B.Ed or D.El.Ed with Music specialization
Minimum 3 years teaching experience in primary grades
Fluency in Hindi and English
Ability to play at least two instruments (keyboard, guitar, tabla)
Good to Have
CTET qualified
Experience with Orff or Kodály methods
Prior experience at G.d. Goenka Public School or similar CBSE schools
Participation in national-level school music festivals
Knowledge of music theory software (e.g., MuseScore)
