Job Overview
Shikshantar School Haryana invites applications for a Post Graduate Teacher in Physics with four years of classroom experience. This is a full-time role for mentoring senior secondary students through CBSE curriculum and board examinations. The position requires a master’s degree in Physics and a teaching qualification recognized by NCTE.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver Physics lessons for Classes 11 and 12 following CBSE guidelines and Shikshantar School Haryana’s academic calendar. Lead curriculum development for the Physics department, including resource creation and assessment design. Coach students for JEE Main, NEET, and CBSE board exams with a focus on problem-solving and conceptual clarity. Organize monthly parent-teacher interactions to share progress and study plans. Conduct practical demonstrations and lab sessions aligned with CBSE syllabus. Mentor two junior Physics teachers and conduct demonstration lessons every term. Represent Shikshantar School Haryana in inter-school science fairs and Olympiads. Document lesson plans, student portfolios, and quarterly progress reports.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in Physics with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed with Physics as a teaching subject. Three years of full-time teaching experience at senior secondary level in a CBSE-affiliated school. CTET or Haryana TET preferred for eligibility verification. Fluency in English and Hindi, with basic knowledge of local dialects for parent communication.
