PRT Computer Science Teacher Job in Gurugram, Haryana | School Recruitment
At Maitree International School, we're looking for an experienced Computer Science teacher to join our team. As a PRT Computer Science Teacher, you'll be responsible for teaching Computer Science to students from grades 6 to 10. Your day-to-day tasks will include preparing and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and providing individualized support to students. You'll also be expected to participate in staff meetings, contribute to curriculum development, and take part in school events.
Your actual duties will include:
* Preparing and delivering lessons on Computer Science topics, such as programming, algorithms, and data structures
* Assessing student progress and providing feedback to students and parents
* Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of all students
* Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes
* Participating in staff meetings and contributing to school-wide initiatives
* Providing individualized support to students, including extra help and accommodations for students with special needs
* Maintaining accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Participating in school events, such as science fairs and technology competitions
* Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Computer Science education and incorporating them into your teaching
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, with a strong background in Computer Science. You should also have a minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Computer Science in a school setting. While a TET or CTET certification is not required, it's highly desirable. You'll need to be able to demonstrate a passion for teaching Computer Science and a commitment to providing a high-quality education to all students.
