About This Role

As a PRT Social Science Teacher at Yaduvanshi Shiksha Niketan Sector 33 Gurugram, you will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students from classes 6 to 8. You will create engaging lesson plans, deliver interactive lectures, and assess student progress to ensure that they meet the Social Science curriculum requirements. You will also be involved in extracurricular activities, such as club supervision and parent-teacher meetings.

Day-to-Day Duties

- Plan and deliver Social Science lessons for classes 6 to 8
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet curriculum requirements
- Supervise clubs and extracurricular activities
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and other school events
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school policies
- Participate in school development programs and activities
- Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment

Eligibility Criteria

- Graduate degree in Social Science or related field
- B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree required
- TET/CTET preferred but not mandatory
- 3 years of teaching experience in Social Science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
