Sanskrit (TGT) Vacancy in Gurugram, Haryana
Anandi School | Gurugram
Job Description
Anandi School in Gurugram seeks a dedicated TGT Sanskrit Teacher to inspire young minds with the rich cultural and linguistic heritage of Sanskrit. This role involves shaping students’ understanding through engaging, age-appropriate lessons while aligning with the school’s emphasis on holistic education. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for classical texts, a knack for simplifying complex concepts, and a passion for fostering critical thinking in students.
In this position, you will design and deliver Sanskrit language and literature classes, covering grammar, poetry, and key texts like the Ramayana or Mahabharata. Your classroom approach should balance traditional teaching methods with interactive techniques—such as storytelling, group discussions, and hands-on exercises—to keep students engaged. Experience in adapting lessons for diverse learning levels will be particularly valuable.
Assessment is a key part of your role. You will evaluate students through written tests, oral presentations, and practical exercises, ensuring assessments reflect both language proficiency and cultural appreciation. The school values structured yet flexible evaluation practices, so your methods should be both fair and meaningful for student growth.
Daily interaction with students is central to your success. You will mentor young learners, encourage participation, and build confidence in their ability to communicate in Sanskrit. Building rapport with students and parents is equally important, as strong communication ensures alignment with school goals and family expectations.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 55,000 per month, along with opportunities to contribute to Anandi School’s legacy of academic excellence. A postgraduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field, along with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification, is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
Your commitment to preserving Sanskrit’s linguistic and spiritual depth will make a lasting impact on the students you teach. If you thrive in an environment that values tradition and innovation, this opportunity awaits.
