What You Will Do

Use simple experiments, role-plays, and local case studies to make history and civics relatable for middle-school learners. Maintain a resource corner with charts, timelines, and artifacts to support visual and kinesthetic learners.
Conduct formative assessments every two weeks and provide written feedback to students in Hindi and English. Organize quarterly Social Science exhibitions where learners present projects on local heritage and current affairs.
Collaborate with the school counselor to identify learners who need additional support in writing or comprehension. Attend weekly subject teacher meetings to align teaching strategies across sections.
Organize field trips to museums, historical sites, or local markets to connect textbook lessons to real life. Support morning assemblies by preparing short talks or skits on social issues relevant to Gurugram and India.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Social Science or related discipline from a recognized Indian university. B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this Social Science Teaching Job in Gurugram.
Preference will be given to candidates with a strong foundation in Indian history, geography, and political science. Prior teaching experience of at least three years in middle school is required.
