Classroom Profile (local student background, community profile)
Our students come from diverse backgrounds, with a strong emphasis on community service and social responsibility. As a General Knowledge Teacher, you will be working with students from local farming communities, where the importance of education is deeply ingrained. Your role will be to inspire and motivate these students to reach their full potential.
Day-to-Day Duties
* Plan and deliver engaging General Knowledge lessons to students in grades 1-5
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum-aligned activities
* Engage with parents through regular progress updates and parent-teacher meetings
* Participate in school events and activities that promote community involvement and social responsibility
* Develop and manage classroom resources, including textbooks, multimedia, and educational software
* Provide support to students with special needs, as required
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Participate in staff meetings and professional development sessions to stay updated on best practices
Eligibility Criteria
* B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized institution
* TET or CTET certification preferred, but not mandatory
* 3 years of experience in teaching General Knowledge to students in grades 1-5
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Passion for teaching and learning
