What You Will Do
Plan and deliver Chemistry lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum, ensuring all students grasp core concepts through demonstrations and problem-solving.
Use differentiated instruction so students at different readiness levels can progress together without feeling left behind.
Create low-cost lab activities using locally available materials to make abstract theories tangible.
Assess students regularly through quizzes, projects, and practicals rather than relying only on written tests.
Provide extra support during remedial sessions for students struggling with moles, redox, or organic mechanisms.
Encourage girls and rural students to consider STEM careers by highlighting local success stories and role models.
Collaborate with other subject teachers to integrate Chemistry with Biology and Physics where relevant.
Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, and assessment outcomes for school audits.
Eligibility Criteria
Postgraduate degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Chemistry specialization.
Minimum 2 years of Chemistry teaching experience in Grades 9–12.
Preference for candidates with TET or CTET certification, though not mandatory.
