PGT History Teacher Position at Lumina World School, Jind
Lumina World School in Jind is seeking a dedicated PGT History Teacher to join its faculty and inspire students with engaging lessons in Indian and world history. This role involves teaching history at the senior secondary level, designing curriculum-aligned lessons, and fostering critical thinking among students. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in shaping young minds through well-researched, interactive sessions that blend theory with real-world relevance.
The successful applicant will conduct classroom instruction, assess student progress through practical exams and projects, and collaborate with department heads to ensure cohesive academic planning. Experience in aligning history education with modern pedagogical trends will be highly valued. The role requires a passion for history, strong communication skills, and the ability to engage students effectively in discussions about pivotal historical events.
This position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month, along with the opportunity to contribute to Lumina World School’s mission of holistic education. A postgraduate degree in History and a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification are mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.
The faculty member will also play a key role in parent-teacher interactions to discuss student performance and academic growth. A structured approach to lesson planning, along with a commitment to maintaining high academic standards, will be essential.
