Job Description
Dronacharya Model School in Narwana, Jind, is seeking a dedicated PRT Computer Science Teacher to strengthen its Computer Science curriculum. This role focuses on teaching foundational and intermediate concepts in Computer Science to students in Class 6 to 12. The position aligns with the school’s focus on fostering digital literacy and practical skills among students.
The PRT Computer Science Teacher will report directly to the Computer Science department head, ensuring alignment with academic policies and curriculum guidelines. The role emphasizes hands-on teaching, classroom management, and mentoring students in coding, programming languages, and computer applications.
Core Duties
Teaching Computer Science subjects including programming basics, data structures, algorithms, and computer applications as per the CBSE syllabus. Engaging students with interactive lessons, practical projects, and real-world problem-solving exercises.
Developing and updating teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessment tools to enhance student learning outcomes. Collaborating with the Computer Science department to integrate technology effectively in the curriculum.
Maintaining discipline in the classroom, ensuring a conducive learning environment, and addressing student queries with patience and clarity. Participating in school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities related to Computer Science.
Qualification and Experience
A graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field is essential. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory for this role. Experience in teaching Computer Science to students in the 6th to 12th grade is preferred but not mandatory.
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of Rs.10,000 to Rs.15,000, along with benefits suited to the school’s environment in Jind. The position offers a full-time commitment with opportunities to grow within the institution’s academic framework.
