Responsibilities
Conduct classroom teaching of Science for classes IX and X, preparing lesson plans aligned with the prescribed curriculum. Evaluate student performance through regular tests, assignments and practical examinations, and maintain accurate records. Coordinate with the Science department for resource sharing and co‑ordinated projects, and communicate progress to parents when required. Participate in school events, science fairs and co‑curricular activities to foster a lively learning environment.
Qualifications
Post‑graduate degree in Science (M.Sc, M.A. etc.) with B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Preference given to candidates holding TET/CTET certification. Minimum two years of teaching experience in a recognized school setting.
Experience
At least 2 years of full‑time teaching experience in Science at the secondary level, demonstrating effective classroom management and student engagement.
Salary
Rs.20,000 - Rs.35,000 per month, payable as per school norms.
Location
Safidon, Jind, Haryana – the role is based at Adi Sankracharya Convent Public School.
