As a TGT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Social Science to students from Class 6 to 10 using a variety of modern tools and techniques. You will create engaging lesson plans that incorporate the use of smart boards, Google Classroom, and other digital tools to enhance student learning. You will also use our LMS to create online assignments, quizzes, and assessments that promote student engagement and feedback.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a TGT Social Science Teacher at Dbk International School, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Creating lesson plans that incorporate the use of technology to enhance student learning.
- Using smart boards to create interactive lessons and presentations.
- Utilizing Google Classroom to communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Creating online assignments, quizzes, and assessments using our LMS.
- Conducting online meetings and discussions using video conferencing tools.
- Providing feedback to students on their work and progress.
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development workshops.
- Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and progress.
Required Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
- A postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related field.
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree from a recognized university.
- A valid TET or CTET certificate is not mandatory, but preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Strong digital literacy skills, including proficiency in Google Classroom, LMS, and other online teaching tools.
- Ability to create engaging online lessons and assignments.
- Experience in using smart boards and other interactive technology in the classroom.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
