Pratap Public School in Karnal, Haryana is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Head to take up an immediate requirement. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the human resource function at the school and contributing to the overall growth and development of the institution. As a key member of the school's leadership team, the Human Resource Head will play a critical role in shaping the school's human resource policies, procedures, and practices.
Day-to-Day Duties
1. Oversee all aspects of human resource management, including recruitment, selection, induction, and employee relations.
2. Develop and implement human resource policies, procedures, and practices that align with the school's vision and mission.
3. Manage employee benefits, compensation, and performance management systems.
4. Coordinate with department heads to ensure effective communication and collaboration among employees.
5. Conduct training and development programs for employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
6. Analyze and report on HR metrics, such as employee turnover, absenteeism, and diversity metrics.
7. Collaborate with the school's leadership team to develop strategic plans and objectives.
8. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and school policies.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a postgraduate degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role. The candidate should also have a strong understanding of human resource principles, practices, and laws. Proficiency in computer software applications, such as MS Office, HR software, and data analysis tools, is essential.
Preferred Skills
The candidate should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Experience in a school or educational institution setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with Indian labor laws and regulations is also an asset.
