About This Role
Pratap Public School Karnal invites applications for the position of Pgt Headmistress. This role involves overseeing the academic and administrative functions of the senior secondary section. Candidates must have prior experience in school leadership and management.
What You Will Do
1. Lead the senior secondary wing of Pratap Public School Karnal with focus on discipline and academics.
2. Coordinate with subject teachers to ensure curriculum delivery aligns with CBSE guidelines.
3. Maintain student records, attendance registers, and academic progress reports.
4. Organize co-curricular activities, sports events, and parent-teacher meetings.
5. Implement school policies and ensure compliance with regulatory norms in Haryana.
6. Supervise staff attendance, leave records, and performance appraisals.
7. Liaise with the principal for budget planning, infrastructure upgrades, and resource allocation.
8. Address student grievances and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Who Can Apply
Applicants should hold a postgraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed is mandatory. Proficiency in MS Office and basic accounting software is preferred. Minimum 4 years of experience in school administration or leadership is required.
Preferred Skills
Experience in CBSE-affiliated schools is an advantage. Knowledge of RTE Act, POCSO guidelines, and Haryana state education policies is beneficial. Strong communication skills in Hindi and English are necessary.
Salary and Benefits
The position offers a salary between Rs.60,000 and Rs.90,000 per month. Benefits include PF, ESI, and annual performance-based incentives. Leave policy follows standard school norms.
