PRT Social Science Teacher Position at Wisdom World School, Kurukshetra
Wisdom World School in Kurukshetra invites experienced candidates to join as a Primary Teacher (PRT) for Social Science. This role focuses on delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons in geography, history, and civics to students in grades 1 to 5. The teacher will design lesson plans that align with national curricula while fostering critical thinking and interactive learning.
Teaching duties include preparing daily lesson plans, conducting classroom activities, and assessing student progress through practical assignments and discussions. You’ll also mentor younger teachers, assist in extracurricular social science events, and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. Collaboration with the school’s curriculum team ensures consistency in teaching standards.
To qualify, hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least three years of teaching experience in Social Science. A graduate degree in Social Science or related field is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset.
