What You Will Do
Plan and deliver daily lessons on Political Science with clear learning objectives and locally relevant examples.
Prepare term-wise lesson plans aligned to the Haryana Board curriculum and share them with the department head for review.
Conduct weekly current affairs discussions where students analyze news articles and present their views.
Organize quarterly debates on topics like electoral reforms, federalism, and international conflicts to build analytical skills.
Prepare students for board examinations with focused revision sessions and sample question papers.
Mentor 10-15 students as class teacher, monitoring attendance, behavior, and overall progress.
Coordinate with the social science department to plan inter-house competitions and model United Nations simulations.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Political Science with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) as per NCTE norms.
Three years of full-time teaching experience in Political Science at the senior secondary level.
Preference for candidates who have qualified CTET or Haryana TET.
