Prepare detailed resource folders with maps, timelines, and primary documents for each term. Represent the Social Science department in PTA meetings to explain curriculum choices and assessment patterns. Oversee the maintenance of subject resource rooms with updated atlases, newspapers, and reference books.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics) with B.Ed from a recognized Indian university. Minimum five years of full-time teaching experience in a senior secondary school environment. NET or SET qualification in Social Science will be given preference during selection.
TET or CTET certification is not mandatory but candidates who hold these credentials will be considered favorably. Experience with CBSE Social Science syllabus and familiarity with Haryana Board supplementary material is desirable. Knowledge of local dialects and cultural context in Mahendragarh will be an added advantage.
