Teach fundamental music theory, instruments, and singing techniques to students in classes I to VIII. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum while ensuring interactive and age-appropriate activities. Conduct group performances and participate in school events like music festivals, cultural fairs, and inter-house competitions. Foster a supportive learning atmosphere by encouraging students to explore different musical genres and instruments. Collaborate with the music coordinator to organize extracurricular music programs and workshops. Assess students’ progress through practical evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Maintain a clean and well-organized music room, including instruments and equipment. Attend staff meetings and workshops to stay updated on teaching methods and educational trends. Ensure compliance with school policies regarding student safety and discipline during music classes.
Qualifications and Experience
Hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) from a recognized university. Possess a graduate degree in Music or a related field to teach effectively. Experience in teaching music to children is preferred, though not mandatory. Familiarity with Haryana’s school curriculum and state-level teaching standards is beneficial. TET/CTET certification is a plus but not required for this position.
Salary and Location
