About This Role
Suraj School is looking for a Music Teacher for the Music Teacher Position in Rewari, Haryana. The role involves managing music-related activities, planning performances, and supporting school events. You will coordinate with administration and ensure smooth execution of music programs.
What You Will Do
1. Organize and lead music rehearsals and performances for school events and competitions.
2. Maintain musical instruments and ensure their availability for practice and events.
3. Plan and execute annual music day celebrations and inter-school music competitions.
4. Coordinate with Suraj School administration to align music activities with school calendar.
5. Train and guide students for state-level and national-level music competitions.
6. Document student progress and maintain records of music-related activities.
7. Ensure safety and discipline during music rehearsals and performances.
8. Collaborate with other departments to integrate music into school festivals and functions.
Who Can Apply
Graduate candidates with minimum two years of relevant experience in music education or administration. B.Ed/D.El.Ed is required. Proficiency in computers and basic music software is necessary.
Skills We Value
Strong knowledge of Indian and Western classical music.
Experience in conducting choir groups or instrumental ensembles.
Ability to manage logistics for music events and performances.
Good communication skills in Hindi and English.
Salary and Benefits
Rs.20,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include PF, ESI, and paid leave as per school policy.
