Role Summary

We invite applications for the position of TGT Social Science Teacher at Rps International School Dharuhera in Rewari, Haryana. As a TGT Social Science Teacher, you will be responsible for imparting knowledge and skills to students in Social Science, a critical subject that helps students understand the complexities of the world around them.

Teaching Approach

As a TGT Social Science Teacher, you will use practical methods, tools, and activities to engage students and make learning fun. You will also utilize case studies, simulations, and projects to help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Day-to-Day Duties

- Plan and deliver lessons in Social Science, including history, geography, economics, and civics.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating games, role-plays, and group discussions.
- Use multimedia resources, including videos, podcasts, and interactive maps, to enhance student learning.
- Conduct field trips and excursions to provide students with real-world experiences.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

Required Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must have a post-graduate degree in Social Science or a related field. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is also required. Preference will be given to candidates who have a Teaching Eligibility Test (TET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) certification.

Salary and Benefits

The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.30,000 - Rs.45,000 per month, along with other benefits as per the school's policies.
