Job Description
This role involves teaching Hindi as a Primary Teacher (PRT) in an early childhood education setting, specifically at GD Goenka Toddler House in Rohtak. The position focuses on developing foundational language skills among toddlers and young learners through structured, play-based and interactive activities. The teacher will work closely with young children to build vocabulary, phonetics, grammar basics, and communication confidence in Hindi.
The daily responsibilities include planning and delivering age-appropriate Hindi lessons aligned with early childhood curriculum standards. This involves creating engaging activities such as storytelling, rhyming games, simple sentence formation exercises, and phonetic sound practice. The teacher will also facilitate hands-on learning through crafts, songs, and interactive storytelling sessions to reinforce language acquisition.
Assessment and student support are integral to the role. The teacher will observe children’s progress in language development, provide individual attention to students who need extra reinforcement, and adjust teaching methods based on their learning pace. Collaborating with the school’s early childhood education team to ensure consistent language development goals is also part of the responsibilities.
To qualify for this position, a graduate degree in any discipline is required. The candidate should have at least three years of relevant teaching experience, preferably in early childhood education or primary school settings. Strong communication skills in Hindi, patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young learners are essential. The salary for this role is Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month. The position is based in Rohtak, Haryana.
