TGT History Teacher Position at Agastya International School in Rohtak
Agastya International School in Rohtak is seeking a dedicated TGT History Teacher to join its dynamic academic team. This full-time role focuses on delivering engaging history lessons across Class 9 to 12, fostering critical thinking and cultural awareness among students.
The teacher will prepare detailed lesson plans aligned with the latest curriculum, ensuring age-appropriate content delivery. Daily classroom instruction will include discussions on historical events, periods, and figures, supplemented with multimedia presentations and interactive activities. Assessments will cover both theoretical knowledge and practical applications, such as source analysis and essay writing.
Collaboration with the history department will be essential, including participation in curriculum reviews and teacher training sessions. Maintaining parent-teacher communication through regular updates and parent meetings will also be part of the responsibilities.
A postgraduate degree in History with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is required. Four years of relevant teaching experience in history or a related subject is mandatory. The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.25,000 to Rs.35,000 per month, with the role based in Rohtak, Haryana.
