The reality of this role
At Gd Goenka International School you will spend most of the day guiding classes of 6th to 10th standard through Hindi literature, grammar and composition. The routine includes preparing lesson plans, delivering interactive sessions and assessing student work. You will also coordinate with senior staff for co‑curricular activities and parent‑teacher meetings. The atmosphere is collaborative, with a focus on improving language proficiency across the campus.
What you will actually do
- Conduct daily Hindi lessons covering prose, poetry and functional language.
- Design worksheets, quizzes and project‑based assignments that align with NCERT guidelines.
- Evaluate assignments, provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
- Organize Hindi debate, recitation and cultural events to foster student interest.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute ideas for curriculum enhancement.
- Support remedial classes for students needing extra help.
- Liaise with parents to discuss progress and address concerns.
- Assist in the preparation of school magazines or newsletters in Hindi.
Who can do this job
A post‑graduate teacher with B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification. Minimum three years of teaching experience in a school setting. TET/CTET qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Must have a clear record of teaching Hindi at the secondary level.
