Participate in morning assemblies where students present news from around Sonipat.
Attend subject-group meetings every Wednesday to share ideas and review upcoming chapters.
Prepare students for inter-school quiz contests on Indian constitution and world geography.
Conduct parent orientation sessions once a term to explain Social Science curriculum changes.
Maintain classroom displays of current events clipped from local newspapers.
Required Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in Social Science or History with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) with Social Science as a teaching subject.
Two years of teaching experience at middle-school level in Haryana schools preferred.
Familiarity with CBSE Social Science syllabus and sample papers is an advantage.
Knowledge of local Sonipat history and geography will help in designing local case studies.
