About This Role
Shiva International Residential School invites applications for the position of Sports Teacher in Bilaspur. This full-time role focuses on managing and leading the sports department for students aged 6 to 17. The person hired will oversee daily sports activities and coordinate with the school management to enhance physical education programs.
What You Will Do
1. Plan, organize, and supervise sports training sessions for students across all age groups.
2. Organize inter-house and inter-school sports competitions regularly.
3. Maintain sports equipment inventory and ensure facilities are safe and functional.
4. Coordinate with the school administration to schedule sports events and practice timings.
5. Encourage student participation in district and state-level sports competitions.
6. Monitor student fitness levels and provide progress reports to parents and management.
7. Promote sportsmanship and discipline through structured training and team activities.
8. Report directly to the Head of Sports and assist in departmental decision-making.
Required Qualifications
Graduation in Physical Education or Sports Science is mandatory. A B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is required. Prior experience in school sports management is preferred. Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication are essential.

Candidates should have at least three years of experience in school sports coordination. Experience in organizing tournaments and managing sports teams is a must. Familiarity with Himachal Pradesh sports culture and local tournaments is an added advantage.
