Planning and Curriculum Development
Collaborate with the academic team to refine and update Social Science syllabi, ensuring they meet national education standards. Stay informed about new educational trends and integrate them into teaching practices. Prepare unit-wise assessments to evaluate student understanding effectively.
Student Support and Mentorship
Act as a guide for students, helping them understand historical events, geographical concepts, and social issues with clarity. Provide extra support to struggling students through one-on-one interactions or small group sessions. Encourage participation in extracurricular activities related to social awareness.
Administrative and Coordination Tasks
Assist in organizing school events, workshops, and guest lectures on Social Science topics. Work with the principal and staff to ensure smooth implementation of academic policies. Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Qualifications and Experience
A postgraduate degree in Social Science or a related field is mandatory. Four years of teaching experience in Social Science at the TGT level is required. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is essential. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. The role offers a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 35,000.
