Job Description
PRT Sanskrit Teacher Position at A Gs Public School Sholoora
Teach Sanskrit to students in Kralpora, Kupwara, ensuring age-appropriate learning through structured grammar, vocabulary, and classical texts. Develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards while fostering cultural appreciation of Vedic and classical traditions. Conduct regular assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
Incorporate hands-on activities like recitation, storytelling, and simple scriptural analysis to make learning interactive. Maintain a supportive classroom environment that encourages participation and respect for linguistic heritage. Collaborate with the principal and staff to integrate Sanskrit content into broader academic programs.
Hold a graduate degree in Sanskrit or a related field, with a minimum of three years of teaching experience. Possession of a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification is mandatory. A TET or CTET certificate is preferred but not mandatory for this role.
The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs.18,000 to Rs.30,000 per month, along with the opportunity to contribute to preserving and promoting Sanskrit education in Jammu and Kashmir. The position is full-time and based in Kralpora, Kupwara.
