Planning and Curriculum Development
You will contribute to curriculum planning by updating syllabi, integrating modern teaching methods, and ensuring subject consistency. Collaboration with the academic team will help refine teaching approaches to meet evolving educational needs.
Student Support and Mentorship
Act as a mentor to students, providing guidance on academic performance, extracurricular activities, and personal growth. Addressing individual learning gaps through one-on-one interactions and small-group support will be part of your role.
Assessment and Evaluation
Design and administer assessments, including exams, quizzes, and project-based evaluations. Analyze results to identify strengths and areas for improvement, then adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
Coordination and Collaboration
Work closely with the principal and staff to coordinate English department activities, including inter-departmental projects and school events. Represent the department at parent-teacher meetings and community engagement initiatives.
Administrative Duties
Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessments. Assist in organizing departmental resources, such as textbooks, multimedia tools, and teaching aids, to support effective instruction.
