The PGT Physical Education Teacher at K.K. Public School will design and implement dynamic sports activities, including team games, individual sports, and fitness training. Daily classes will cover a mix of indoor and outdoor exercises, ensuring age-appropriate challenges and skill development. You’ll also organize school events like inter-house competitions, sports days, and health awareness campaigns to boost student participation. Curriculum planning will align with national education standards, ensuring balanced physical development alongside academic growth. Coaching students in sports like basketball, football, cricket, and athletics will be a key responsibility, with mentorship extending beyond classroom hours. Maintaining discipline and safety protocols during activities is essential, along with collaborating with other teachers to integrate physical education into the school’s holistic curriculum. Regular assessments will track progress, adjusting programs to meet individual student needs.
To qualify, a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree is mandatory, with a postgraduate qualification in Physical Education or related field preferred. Two years of teaching experience, especially in Physical Education, will be highly beneficial. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory for this role, it will be an added advantage. A strong background in sports science, fitness training, and classroom management will make you a valuable asset to K.K. Public School’s team.
