K.K. Public School in Dhanbad seeks a dedicated PRT (Post Graduate Teacher) Music Teacher to join its dynamic music program. This role focuses on nurturing students’ musical talents through engaging lessons, fostering creativity, and aligning with school curriculum standards. The teacher will work closely with younger students, ensuring they develop foundational skills in music theory, instruments, and performance.
The primary responsibilities include designing and delivering music lessons that blend traditional and modern teaching methods. Daily duties include conducting group and individual music classes, assessing student progress, and maintaining a structured yet creative learning environment. Collaboration with the school’s music coordinator and other teachers will also be essential to integrate music into broader academic activities.
A strong emphasis is placed on hands-on teaching—whether through singing, playing instruments, or music appreciation activities. Experience in classroom management and patience with young learners will be highly valued.
For this role, a graduate degree is required, with a preference for candidates holding a B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Two years of teaching experience in music or related subjects is mandatory. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an asset. The position offers a competitive salary of Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 20,000 per month, along with opportunities to grow within the school’s educational framework.
