Job Description
Don Bosco Ramkanali School in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, seeks a dedicated TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) for the Social Science subject. This role is for a full-time, rural setting where the teacher will play a key role in shaping students’ understanding of history, geography, civics, and economics through engaging, curriculum-aligned instruction.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across Social Science subjects, ensuring alignment with the prescribed syllabus. This includes designing lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs, facilitating interactive classroom discussions, and maintaining a structured approach to assessments. The teacher will also be expected to monitor student progress, provide feedback, and support students in developing critical thinking and analytical skills. Collaboration with colleagues to refine teaching methods and share best practices will be part of the role. To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in a relevant field (such as History, Geography, Political Science, or Economics) or an equivalent qualification recognized by the relevant educational board. A minimum of three years of teaching experience, preferably in Social Science, is required. While formal certifications like TET/CTET are not mandatory for this role, experience in teaching Social Science subjects in a school environment will be highly valued.
The salary for this position is set at Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month, with the exact amount dependent on factors such as qualifications and experience. The role is based in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, in a rural area, and the school operates under the curriculum guidelines of the local board.
