The PRT Music Teacher at Birla Open Minds International School Garhwa will be responsible for delivering engaging music lessons across various grades. You’ll design and implement age-appropriate curriculum, ensuring students develop foundational skills in singing, instrumental playing, and music theory. Classroom instruction will include group activities, individual practice sessions, and participation in school musical events. Your role also involves assessing student progress through practical evaluations and providing constructive feedback to help them improve. Collaborating with the music department head, you’ll contribute to planning school-wide musical programs, including concerts and festivals. Ensuring a safe and inclusive learning environment, you’ll adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs. Regular parent-teacher interactions will be part of your responsibilities, sharing insights on students’ musical development and progress. Maintaining updated lesson plans and resources, you’ll also assist in organizing school music workshops or guest artist sessions to enrich learning. Keeping up with educational trends in music pedagogy, you’ll ensure your teaching methods remain innovative and effective. Ensuring punctuality and professionalism, you’ll represent the school’s commitment to quality education in music.

To qualify for this PRT Music Teacher position, you must hold a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree with at least two years of teaching experience in music. A graduate degree in music or a related field is preferred. While TET/CTET certification is not mandatory, it will be an added advantage. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time position at Birla Open Minds International School Garhwa, based in Nagaruntari, Garhwa, with a monthly salary ranging from Rs.15,000 to Rs.20,000.
