Job Description
PRT Art and Craft Teacher Position at Loordippa Kurux English Medium School, Gumla
Loordippa Kurux English Medium School in Gumla is seeking a dedicated PRT (Pupil Teacher) for its Art and Craft department. This role involves teaching creative arts, including drawing, painting, craft-making, and basic textile work to students in the school. The position requires a graduate with a B.Ed or D.El.Ed degree, though prior teaching experience is mandatory.
The fixed requirements for this role include a B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification, and at least three years of relevant teaching experience. The salary for this position is set at Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 30,000 per month, depending on performance and institutional needs.
Teachers will design engaging lesson plans that blend traditional and modern art techniques. Daily classroom time will be allocated for hands-on activities, group projects, and individual assignments. Assessments will focus on practical skills, creativity, and participation rather than standardized tests.
While the school values structured learning, flexibility exists in how projects are implemented—whether through workshops, art exhibitions, or collaborative classroom displays. The teacher will work closely with the Art and Craft coordinator to ensure alignment with curriculum goals.
This is a full-time position within a supportive educational environment focused on fostering artistic expression among students.
