Pedagogy and Tools
At Mdav School, we utilize a range of innovative tools to create a blended learning environment. Our Mathematics teachers are expected to leverage smart boards, Google Classroom, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to design and deliver engaging lessons. The ideal candidate should be comfortable using technology to facilitate active learning, promote collaboration, and track student progress.
Key Responsibilities
1. Teach Mathematics to students of various age groups, using a range of pedagogical approaches, including blended learning and project-based learning.
2. Develop and implement Mathematics curricula that cater to diverse learning needs, using digital resources and multimedia materials.
3. Utilize technology to create interactive lessons, quizzes, and assessments that promote student engagement and motivation.
4. Foster a collaborative learning environment by encouraging students to work in groups and share ideas using online platforms.
5. Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback using digital tools, such as Google Forms and LMS.
6. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide Mathematics initiatives that promote excellence and innovation.
7. Stay updated with the latest developments in Mathematics education and integrate relevant concepts into the curriculum.
8. Participate in school events, such as parent-teacher meetings, and contribute to the development of Mathematics clubs and extracurricular activities.
Required Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field and a recognized B.Ed./D.El.Ed. qualification. A valid TET/CTET certification is desirable but not mandatory. Two years of experience in teaching Mathematics to students of various age groups is preferred.
