About This Role
Grizzly Vidyalaya is inviting applications for a full-time PGT Chemistry Teacher to join its academic team in Kodarma, Jharkhand. The school seeks a qualified educator with strong subject knowledge and classroom experience to teach Chemistry at the senior secondary level. This role involves planning lessons, conducting experiments, and assessing student progress within the CBSE curriculum framework.
What You Will Do
Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for classes 11 and 12.
Prepare and demonstrate practical experiments safely in the laboratory.
Assess student performance through tests, assignments, and periodic evaluations.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, marks, and lesson plans.
Collaborate with fellow teachers to align Chemistry curriculum with school goals.
Organize subject-related activities like science exhibitions or quiz competitions.
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher conferences.
Uphold Grizzly Vidyalaya’s discipline and academic policies consistently.
Eligibility Criteria
Must Have
Postgraduate degree in Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution.
Three years of teaching experience in Chemistry at the secondary or senior secondary level.
CTET/TET qualification will be an added advantage.
Good to Have
Experience in CBSE-affiliated schools.
Familiarity with digital teaching tools and smart classroom methods.
Background in curriculum development or student mentoring.
Preferred Skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Problem-solving mindset and patience in handling student queries.
Fluency in Hindi and English for effective instruction and communication.
