About This Role
We are looking for a PRT Music Teacher to join our music department at Grizzly Kids Grizzly Public School Jharkhand in Kodarma, Jharkhand. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students from grades I to X, developing and implementing music curricula, and conducting music performances and events. This is a full-time role that requires a graduate with a B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree and at least 3 years of experience in teaching music.
Day-to-Day Duties
- Plan and deliver music lessons to students from grades I to X
- Develop and implement music curricula that cater to the needs of our students
- Conduct music performances and events, including school concerts and competitions
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents
- Maintain a well-organized and inspiring music classroom environment
- Collaborate with other teachers to develop interdisciplinary curricula
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to school events and activities
- Develop and implement strategies to promote music education in our school community
- Supervise students during music periods and events
Required Qualifications
- Graduate with a B.Ed/D.El.Ed degree in Music or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in teaching music
- Strong knowledge of music theory and practice
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students
- Strong organizational and time management skills
