What You Will Do
- Plan and deliver music lessons to students from Class 1 to 8, ensuring that the curriculum is well-structured and engaging.
- Develop and implement music curricula that align with the National Music Curriculum and Board Examination requirements.
- Coach students for Board Examinations and assist them in achieving good grades.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that music education is integrated with other subjects.
- Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes creative expression and musical growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessment results.
- Prepare and administer music assessments and evaluations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of music-related school events and activities.
- Provide music-related support to teachers and students as needed.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Music or a related field, along with a B.Ed/D.El.Ed. degree. A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have completed the TET/CTET exam. You should be knowledgeable about the National Music Curriculum and Board Examination requirements.
