Role Summary
Grizzky Kids seeks an experienced TGT Chemistry Teacher to strengthen its senior secondary science faculty. The role involves leading classroom instruction for Classes 9–10, aligning with CBSE Chemistry syllabus, and mentoring students through board exam preparation. Previous exposure to Jharkhand’s school curriculum and local student needs is an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Chemistry lessons for TGT streams, integrating real-life examples from Kodarma’s industrial and agricultural surroundings. Design practical sessions using low-cost lab apparatus suitable for rural schools and maintain safety records as per CBSE norms. Lead the Chemistry curriculum for two sections, set term-wise unit tests, and submit assessment reports to the academic coordinator on time.
Guide a group of 30–35 students in board exam strategies, conduct weekly revision tests, and analyze common mistakes in Chemistry problem-solving. Organize inter-house quiz competitions focused on periodic table trends and environmental chemistry to build interest beyond textbooks. Mentor two student projects per term for district-level science exhibitions and ensure timely submission of project reports and viva schedules.
Coordinate with the lab assistant to stock chemicals and glassware within the allocated budget, maintaining an inventory log updated every fortnight. Represent Grizzky Kids at local science fairs and parent-teacher meetings to showcase student achievements in Chemistry.
Who Can Apply
Postgraduate in Chemistry with B.Ed or D.El.Ed from a recognized Indian university is mandatory. Minimum three years of Chemistry teaching experience at TGT level in a school environment is required. TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory for this Chemistry Teacher Job in Kodarma.
