Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse learning needs of students in Chemistry
- Conduct experiments and demonstrations to illustrate key concepts, ensuring student safety and engagement
- Provide individualized support to students who require extra help, while also challenging advanced learners
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes mutual respect and understanding
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum changes that reflect best practices in Chemistry education
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed about student progress
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote STEM education and community engagement
- Stay up-to-date with developments in Chemistry education and incorporate new ideas into your teaching practices
- Assess student learning and provide constructive feedback that promotes growth and improvement
Required Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc.) or related field
- B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification for teaching positions
- TET or CTET certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in a school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and pedagogical expertise in Chemistry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
