Role Summary
We are looking for a skilled TGT Chemistry Teacher to join the faculty at St. Xavier High School, a technology-driven institution that utilizes smart boards, Google Classroom, and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to deliver a comprehensive education to its students. As a TGT Chemistry Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of the next generation by imparting knowledge and skills in Chemistry. You will be responsible for teaching Chemistry to students at the high school level, using modern teaching aids and technology to make learning a fun and engaging experience.
How You Will Teach
At St. Xavier High School, we believe in incorporating technology into our teaching methods to make learning more effective and engaging. As a TGT Chemistry Teacher, you will be required to use a range of digital tools and resources to deliver lessons, including smart boards, Google Classroom, and LMS. You will also be expected to design and implement blended learning modules, which combine traditional teaching methods with digital technology. This will enable students to access learning materials and resources from anywhere, at any time, and to engage with course content in a more interactive and immersive way.
Day-to-Day Duties
As a TGT Chemistry Teacher at St. Xavier High School, your day-to-day duties will include:
- Preparing and delivering Chemistry lessons to students at the high school level
- Using smart boards and other digital tools to enhance the learning experience
- Creating and managing online resources and materials using Google Classroom and LMS
- Designing and implementing blended learning modules
- Marking and assessing student work, providing constructive feedback and guidance
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress and achievement
- Collaborating with other teachers to develop and implement curriculum
- Participating in staff meetings and professional development activities
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- A post-graduate degree in Chemistry (M.Sc)
- A B.Ed or D.El.Ed qualification
- 2 years of experience in teaching Chemistry at the high school level
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry and the ability to teach it effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use digital tools and technology to enhance the learning experience
Preferred Skills
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong digital literacy and ability to use online teaching tools
- Experience of using smart boards and other digital tools in the classroom
- Ability to design and implement blended learning modules
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role will be Rs.22,000 - Rs.30,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications. You will also be entitled to a range of benefits, including paid leave, health insurance, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
